Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN) and the host Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN), saw Thief River Falls's basketball squad hold off Perham by a tally of 89-82.

With the victory, Thief River Falls improves its record to 16-15 on the campaign. The Prowlers travel to East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN) to confront the Green Wave in a Northwest challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. East Grand Forks lost 86-45 in their recent league test against Roseau (Roseau, MN)
