In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored a tight 58-57 triumph over the Garinger Wildcats.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 30. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.
