North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), 10-0 in a league test.

With the win, North Star upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars host Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Western Pennsylvania test on Monday, April 16. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 2-0.

With the defeat, Conemaugh Township falls to 1-2 on the season. The Indians host Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA) to battle the Red Raiders in a Western Pennsylvania test on Friday, April 13. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-0. Meyersdale won 16-0 in their recent league test against Salisbury Elk Lick (Salisbury, PA)
