Kentucky High School Football - Bullitt East prevails Larue County
October 23, 2009: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the visiting Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), observed Bullitt East's football squad notch a victory over Larue County by a margin of 10-0.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 30. Bullitt East will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 14-13 non-league win over North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).
The Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, Butler County was toppled by Russellville (Russellville, KY), 34-20, in a league bout.
