Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), 66-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Dreadnaughts host Milan (Milan, MI) to play the Big Reds in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. The Big Reds come into the bout with a record of 12-8. Milan won 75-51 in their recent non-league bout against Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI)

Next up, the Trojans play the Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 6. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Railsplitters come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 64-52 league loss to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI).
