Virginia High School Volleyball - McLean over School Without Walls
September 29, 2018: McLean, VA 22101 McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Highlanders battle the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Class 6 Region D match, on Tuesday, October 2. McLean will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Saxons come into the match with a 12-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
With the loss, School Without Walls drops to 11-7 on the campaign. The Penguins travel to Wilson (Washington, DC) to battle the Tigers in a DCIAA match on Tuesday, October 2. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 10-8. Wilson won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against National Cathedral (Washington, DC)
