California High School Football - Lemoore prevails Mt. Whitney
October 24, 2008: Lemoore, CA 93245 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lemoore Tigers (Lemoore, CA) and the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), observed Lemoore's football squad defeat Mt. Whitney by a count of 40-26.
The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Monache for a non-league contest on Friday, October 31. Lemoore will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Chavez (Delano, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-2.
Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Hanford Bullpups (Hanford, CA) in a West Yosemite contest, on Friday, October 31. Mt. Whitney will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
