Georgia High School Basketball - Pope crushes Wesleyan
December 28, 2016: Marietta, GA 30062 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA), 68-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pope upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Dunwoody won 65-63 in their recent non-league bout against Miramar (Miramar, FL)
Next up, the Wolves clash with the Miramar Patriots (Miramar, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Wesleyan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 65-63 non-league loss to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA).
