Kentucky High School Football - Bath County topples Powell County
August 31, 2018: Owingsville, KY 40360 The Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) football defeated the visiting Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY), 40-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 7. Bath County will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 50-15 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY).
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Lawrence County defeated Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY), 41-8, in a non-league bout.
