The St. Thomas More Chancellors football team (Oakdale, CT), was beaten 62-34 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT)

The Cats (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Westminster (Simsbury, CT). The come into the Colonial challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Westminster was beaten by Canterbury (New Milford, CT), 18-8, in a league challenge.

The Chancellors now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilbraham & Monson Academy for a Colonial challenge on Saturday, November 6. St. Thomas More will meet a Titans team coming off a 56-20 league loss to Tabor Academy (Marion, MA). The Titans record now stands at 2-4.
