The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) basketball knocked off the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 63-55 in Thursday's league test.

The Bishops (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Carlisle (Martinsville, VA). The go into the VISAA Division 2 test with a 10-3 record.

The Barons now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Woodberry Forest for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. Blue Ridge will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-55 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
