March 30, 2012: Meridian, MS 39305 Hattiesburg Tigers (Hattiesburg, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), 8-2 in a league test.

Game Summary
Kyle Russell started for the Cats and pitched very well. He gave up 7 runs with 2 outs. It was a tough outing for him as he really held guys off base to start the inning. His improvement was terrific. The Cats stranded to many runners but played much harder than Tuesday on the road.
