The Morro Bay Pirates basketball team (Morro Bay, CA), dropped 66-49 in Thursday's league battle with the host Lompoc Braves (Lompoc, CA)

The Braves now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Lompoc will battle a Royals team coming off a 77-58 league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Royals record now stands at 13-6.

The Pirates (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA). The Spartans come into the Los Padres battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Orcutt Academy dropped by Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 70-16, in a league battle.
