Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Mountain upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Hawks in a I Section II bout on Tuesday, November 27. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Sabercats play the Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) in a II Section III bout, on Tuesday, November 27. Saguaro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
