Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ) and the host New Brunswick Zebras (New Brunswick, NJ), saw Monroe Township's basketball squad knock off New Brunswick by a score of 64-50.

With the victory, Monroe Township improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to battle the Bombers in a Greater Middlesex - White challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bombers come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Sayreville lost 68-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ)

Next up, the Zebras battle the Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. New Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 52-38 league win over Immaculata (Somerville, NJ).
