The Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 75-73 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wolverines (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks go into the 4A Region II District 9 test with a 7-18 record. In their last test, Liberty was tipped by Sherman (Sherman, TX), 66-50, in a league test.

The Raccoons now own a 12-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to McKinney North for a 4A Region II District 9 test on Friday, February 6. Frisco will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-57 league loss to Denison (Denison, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-10.
