California High School Basketball - Nevada Union knocked off by Rocklin
January 14, 2014: Rocklin, CA 95765 The Rocklin Thunder basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Nevada Union Miners to 63 in the Thunder league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunder now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodcreek for a Sierra Foothill League contest on Friday, January 17. Rocklin will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 58-49 league win over Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 15-4.
The Miners (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Sierra Foothill League contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Granite Bay was defeated by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 57-40, in a league contest.
