Arizona High School Basketball - Flowing Wells fells Vista Grande
January 7, 2016: Casa Grande, AZ 85122 Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ), 53-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Flowing Wells upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Caballeros travel to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 12. Vista Grande will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 69-67 league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ).
