The Mira Costa Mustangs basketball squad scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Cathedral Phantoms to 44 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Mira Costa upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 27. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. St. Bernard won 81-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA)

Next up, the Phantoms play the Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 27. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
