January 21, 2017: McDonough, GA 30253 Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Luella Lions (Luella, GA), 51-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Drew Charter School Senior Academy (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the in a A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Drew Charter School Senior Academy won 76-36 in their recent league bout against Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA)
Next up, the Lions clash with the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Luella will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 62-53 non-league win over Westlake (Atlanta, GA).
