Georgia High School Football - Franklin County knocked off by Gainesville
September 23, 2011: Carnesville, GA 30521 Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 42-13 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Gainesville improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Red Elephants travel to Johnson (Gainesville, GA) to confront the Knights in a AAA Region 8B test on Friday, September 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-4. Johnson lost 30-21 in their recent non-league test against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)
With the loss, Franklin County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to confront the Indians in a AAA Region 8A test on Friday, September 30. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-1. Stephens County won 44-14 in their recent non-league test against West Hall (Oakwood, GA)
