Louisiana High School Basketball - Bastrop tops Neville
January 26, 2016: Monroe, LA 71201 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) and the host Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA), saw Bastrop's basketball squad knock off Neville by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Bastrop improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Tioga (Tioga, LA) to play the Indians in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, January 29. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Tioga lost 64-26 in their recent league challenge against West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 29. Neville will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 69-34 league win over Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA).
