The Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) basketball knocked off the host Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA), 79-60 in Tuesday's league test.

The Green Wave (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers go into the 5A District 6 test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, Slidell notched a victory over Covington (Covington, LA), 66-65, in a league test.

The Skippers now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Northshore for a 5A District 6 test on Friday, February 3. Mandeville will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 39-38 league loss to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-16.
