Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) and the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), saw Upper Perkiomen's basketball squad hold off New Hope-Solebury by a tally of 57-54.

With the victory, Upper Perkiomen improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Oley Valley (Oley, PA) to play the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Church Farm Griffens (Paoli, PA) in a Bicentennial - Independence challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. New Hope-Solebury will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
