California High School Lacrosse - California drops to St. Ignatius

April 29, 2013: San Francisco, CA 94116

In Monday's non-league test, the host St. Ignatius Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-8 victory over the California Grizzlies.

The Wildcats now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 30. St. Ignatius will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) in a East Bay test, on Friday, May 3. California will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 10-7 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
