Florida High School Basketball - White can't hold off University
January 21, 2012: Jacksonville, FL 32210 The University Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host White Commanders to 51 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. University will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 78-46 league win over Harmony (Harmony, FL). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-7.
The Commanders (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Mandarin was nudged by Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL), 55-49, in a league contest.
