September 21, 2011: Montebello, CA 90640 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Temple City Rams (Temple City, CA) and the host Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), saw Temple City's volleyball squad beat Schurr by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Temple City upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Rams host La Canada (La Canada, CA) to battle the Spartans in a Rio Hondo match on Thursday, September 29. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 7-7.
With the loss, Schurr drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Mountain View (El Monte, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, September 22. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 2-4. Mountain View lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Nogales (La Puente, CA)
