The Bishop Lynch Friars held off the visiting College Park Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Friars now have a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parish Episcopal for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 4. Bishop Lynch will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
