New Jersey High School Basketball - Allentown winner over Bordentown
January 19, 2009: Allentown, NJ 08501 In Monday's non-league outing, the Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Bordentown Scotties (Bordentown, NJ), by a margin of 48-33.
The Redbirds (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Princeton (Princeton, NJ). The Tigers go into the Colonial Valley - Patriot outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Princeton was beaten by Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ), 40-30, in a non-league outing.
The Scotties now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medford Tech for a Burlco - Patriot outing on Thursday, January 22. Bordentown will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 35-21 non-league loss to Riverside (Riverside, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-3.
