February 4, 2015: Huntingtown, MD 20639 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) and the host Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), saw Westlake's basketball squad overcome Huntingtown by a tally of 68-49.
With the victory, Westlake improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to play the Chargers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, February 6. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Lackey won 62-60 in their recent league challenge against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, February 6. Huntingtown will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 65-52 league loss to Stone (Waldorf, MD).
