North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln ripped by Lincolnton

January 21, 2016: Lincolnton, NC 28092

The Lincolnton Wolves basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting West Lincoln Rebels to 26 in the Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolves now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lincoln for a Southern District 7 2A contest on Tuesday, January 26. Lincolnton will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 60-45 league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.

The Rebels (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the Southern District 7 2A contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Bunker Hill was routed by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 66-52, in a league contest.
