The West Lowndes Panthers basketball team (Columbus, MS), was overwhelmed 71-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Callaway for a 6A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 13. Starkville will confront a Chargers team coming off a 85-64 league win over Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 13-5.
