Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marion Giants (Marion, IN), 70-58 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Lawrence North improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Giants battle the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) in a North Central challenge, on Friday, December 19. Marion will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
