With the triumph, La Feria improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Lyford (Lyford, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Friday, September 25. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 3-0. Lyford won 40-0 in their recent non-league game against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX)
The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Prepa Tech (Monterrey, Mexico) for a non-league game on Friday, October 2.
