Connecticut High School Basketball - New London overwhelms Wilbur Cross
March 1, 2018: New London, CT 06320 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New London Whalers (New London, CT) and the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT), witnessed New London's basketball squad crush Wilbur Cross by a margin of 79-31.
The Whalers (25-0) will now prepare for their test against Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, Enfield walloped Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 46-24, in a non-league test.
The Governors now own a 15-7 record.
