August 29, 2011: New Site, AL 36256 Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Generals battle the Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 30. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL).
With the loss, Lanier drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Poets travel to Russell (Alexander City, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, August 29. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 5-4. Russell won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Opelika (Opelika, AL)
