Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ponderosa upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bruins travel to Placer (Auburn, CA) to encounter the Hillmen in a non-league bout on Friday, December 18. The Hillmen go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 17. Ceres will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
