Texas High School Basketball - Whitewright knocked off by Braswell
February 10, 2017: Little Elm, TX 76227 The Braswell basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Whitewright Tigers to 52 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 11-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ryan for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Braswell will battle a Raiders team coming off a 74-57 league win over Denton (Denton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 19-8.
The Tigers (12-16) will now prepare for their contest against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Farmersville was defeated by Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX), 74-62, in a league contest.
