Colorado High School Lacrosse - Monarch Wheat Ridge
April 24, 2010: Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Farmers now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Evergreen for a Foothills challenge on Monday, April 26. Wheat Ridge will face a Cougars team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Overland (Aurora, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
In their next game, the Coyotes face the Windsor Wizards (Windsor, CO) in a Northern challenge, on Tuesday, April 27. Monarch will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Wizards come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Denver South (Denver, CO).
