Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift thwarts Lanier
December 8, 2016: San Antonio, TX 78207 The Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) basketball knocked off the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 55-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vipers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Clear Lake notched a victory over Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX), 65-32, in a non-league test.
The Voks now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Lanier will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-32 non-league loss to Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
