Florida High School Volleyball - St. Augustine crushed by Nease
September 24, 2009: St. Augustine, FL 32084 The Nease Panthers topped the host St. Augustine Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Creekside for a 4A District 4 test on Tuesday, September 29.
The Yellowjackets (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record.
Match Summary
The stellar play of Jr Setter Kamryn Sherman brought Nease another district win. Sherman had 29 assists, 10 digs, 5 blocks and 10 service points. Cheyenne Tiffany posted a season high 13 kills and 5 aces. Jordan Cangelosi was strong again with 9 kills, 10 service points and 9 digs. Taylor Permenter added 5 kills and 4 blocks and Mariah McCallum chipped in 15 digs.
