Missouri High School Basketball - Carl Junction nips Joplin
February 25, 2014: Joplin, MO 64804 Carl Junction Bulldogs (Carl Junction, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO), 77-74 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Carl Junction upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host McDonald County (Anderson, MO) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-12. McDonald County lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Aurora (Aurora, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Parkview Vikings (Springfield, MO) in a Ozarks bout, on Thursday, February 27. Joplin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 55-51 non-league win over Central (Springfield, MO).
