Florida High School Basketball - Lake Mary Prep holds off Faith Christian
January 12, 2012: Lake Mary, FL 32746 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL) and the visiting Faith Christian Lions (Orlando, FL), saw Lake Mary Prep's basketball squad hold off Faith Christian by a count of 68-66.
With the victory, Lake Mary Prep upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Griffins host Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Master's Academy won 42-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Lions play the Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles (Ocoee, FL) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 63-19 non-league loss to Circle Christian (Orlando, FL).
