The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Huntington Red Devils to 36 in the Roughriders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laneville for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Center will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 77-67 non-league loss to Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-3.

The Red Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Diboll (Diboll, TX). The Lumberjacks enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Diboll nudged Pollok Central (Pollok, TX), 67-55, in a league contest.
