In Friday's non-league game, the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) football team knocked off the host Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), by a final score of 21-9.

The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons come into the Diablo Foothill game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Acalanes was dropped by Stallworth (Stockton, CA), 55-13, in a non-league game.

The Vikings now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Folsom for a non-league game on Friday, October 10. Oakmont will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
