Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND), 53-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Fargo South upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bruins host Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND) to play the Knights in a A East bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Grand Forks Central lost 63-43 in their recent non-league bout against Minot (Minot, ND)

Next up, the Spartans play the Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) in a A East bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Fargo North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
