Arizona High School Football - Peoria held off by Desert Edge

September 21, 2018: Goodyear, AZ 85338

In Friday's league game, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) football team tipped the visiting Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ), by a final score of 27-22.

The Scorpions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Saguaro got by Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ), 70-14, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Poston Butte for a non-league game on Friday, September 28. Peoria will battle a Broncos team coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Broncos record now stands at 2-3.
