Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), 72-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ankeny Centennial upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The travel to Ames (Ames, IA) to play the Little Cyclones in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 3. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Ames lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Defender Ministry HomeSchool (Hiawatha, IA)

Next up, the Rams play the Dowling Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) in a Central Iowa Metro - Iowa bout, on Tuesday, February 3. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 83-36 non-league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA).
