New Mexico High School Baseball - Valley nips La Cueva
February 27, 2018: Albuquerque, NM 87107 Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 1. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. Eldorado lost 14-8 in their recent non-league test against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
With the defeat, La Cueva falls to 0-1 on the season. The Bears host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the Bulldawgs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 3. The Bulldawgs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Las Cruces won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Faith Christian (El Paso, TX)
