Indiana High School Football - DeKalb drops to Marian
August 19, 2011: Waterloo, IN 46793 In Friday's non-league game, the Marian Knights (Mishawaka, IN) football team knocked off the host DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN), by a final score of 45-14.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles come into the Northern Indiana game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Adams toppled Northridge (Middlebury, IN), 43-14, in a non-league game.
The Barons now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garrett for a non-league game on Friday, August 26. DeKalb will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 48-20 non-league win over Eastside (Butler, IN). The Railroaders record now stands at 1-0.
